The best pub on the South Bank

A pub that’s bang in the heart of Central London, serving up delicious, quintessentially British dishes and a phenomenal selection of beers and wines.

Located on the South Bank of the River Thames and nestled between the Tate Modern and London Blackfriars Station, we are the perfect spot for brunch, lunch and dinner, or just a few cheeky tipples in the bar.

With ideal transport links, we’re the perfect meeting place for catching up with friends or meetings with colleagues travelling from different parts of the city. Waterloo, Blackfriars and Southwark stations are all a short walk away from our doors too.

Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and join Kerry and the team on the bank of the Thames and enjoy epic views of London.

Serving up quintessentially British dishes

Our food menus are packed with the freshest and the finest British ingredients, from our Heritage beetroot salad with pickled wild mushroom, charred broccoli, toasted sunflower seeds and basil oil to our epic Cyder battered haddock with triple-cooked chips, served with tartare and curry sauce, mushy peas and a burnt lemon.

You will be sure to find something you will love on our menus.

Celebrations in the City

Our epic pub provides incredible transport links, just a short walk from Blackfriars and Waterloo Stations. With several bookable inside and outside areas, our City pub is the ideal destination to celebrate any occasion in Central London. Showcasing large panoramic windows, a long and extensive bar and iconic views from every seat in the house.

What people say about us...

We met up with an old friend here intending to visit the Tate. Having had a drink we decided to stay for lunch first. The three of us had a delicious lunch accompanied by wine. Having spent three hours there, we eventually made it to the Tate! We sat outside with a view over the Thames. Excellent location.

Lovely location to meet friends and enjoy a meal.

The location is something I never tire of - stunning views of St Pauls over the river, just fantastic. It's easy to book, the service is good and the food is good and given its location both food and drink are reasonably priced too.

Unbeatable Location

Had a work event here and the staff were incredible, the food was great, and the views were amazing. Highly recommend.

Work event

One of my favourite pubs in London. You can always get a good meal here and it's spacious. The deal breaker, though is that it backs onto the Thames, with panoramic views of St Paul's Cathedral. Great in the summer!

One of my favourite pubs in London.

Booked a large group of friends here for lunch after an event. Pre-ordered everything and was able to supplement during the meal (extra wine!) when needed. Excellent service. The sharing platters were just the job. A shame the ploughman's one has been discontinued but the others were very suitable especially for those with dietary needs. Thank you!

Great for groups!
